Add -nosteam into the PZ launch options, then run the non steam dedicated server. Make sure all your ports are forwarded and so on, or uPnP is turned on if you can't forward ports. This should open up the server. The problem seems to be on Steams end for some reason. 8.1. Open dedicated server folder. C:\SteamCMD\steamapps\common\Project Zomboid Dedicated Server. 2. Open StartServer64.bat in text editor. 3. Change next parameters: Delete the -xms paremeter. Change the -Xmx to however much RAM you need for your server.

If the ports turn out to be closed even though you set it all up in your router, please contact your ISP tech support. They should be able to help in that case.Look up "project zomboid ports" in your browser to find out which ports the game uses. I think it is in the pz wiki and on various steam guides for this game. Also look in your server ini file. But there's no guarantee that will work and you'll still have ports forwarded regardless, just not done by you manually. 3.
