This gun started life as a DWM Commercial Luger (c/N proof) and sometime--probably in the early 30s--it was reworked and proofed by the Heeres Zeugamt (weapons depot) at Spandau (SU25) for military use.Coat the barrel with a release agent like common Johnson's Paste Wax and bed the block on one side of the barrel using bedding epoxy, or just hardware store 1 hour epoxy. Mark it as to which side it fits, then bed the other block to the other side.
