As luck would have it though, my 39a needed a rear sight, and it fits perfectly. I don't know if it's the right height yet, because my 39a still isn't in working order.I installed a Marbles Bullseye sight on a Marlin 795. I also wanted a better sight picture but did not want to go to the expense of a peep sight. I used the stock front sight for a while, but felt it was too low.
