I just recently purchased a used 2011 4010 4x4. The unit had 13 hours on it. Now it has 29. I has been a great UTV. I have a moose plow attached and have plowed quite a bit this winter. Recently a neighbor down the road got stuck in the high snow. Valve adjustment - I read that intake valves could tighten up a bit and cause pressure sensor to misread tricking the system to add fuel at idle causing the rich condition. The usual cause of what you describe is aggressive riding results in fuel accumulating in the evap canister check valve causing it to fail to vent properly. This usually occurs after the machine has been severely tipped or even put up on its side.Remove the wheel cap to expose the hub nut and cotter key. Put it in gear and have an assistant work the throttle. If the hut turns and the hub doesn't, you need a new hub. Just got 2 letters today from Kaw notifying me of recalls. One is being discussed here already; something about a frozen vent, and also an issue with debris getting on the exhaust manifold. Although this issue has been brought to Kawasaki's attention, unfortunately it seems to have never been properly addressed. Got it home and immediately noticed very weak braking using the pedal brake, which should be quite powerful considering it is a hydraulic-assisted 4-wheel drum config.One big difference between them is the Honda uses a geared transmission, the Kawi uses CVT. I don't know how low the gearing is on the Mule, but the Honda in low gear could climb a wall if if you could get traction.
