One way some have talked about is going to the junk yard and cutting off the end of another seatbelt and just putting the clip in, thus no belt behind you.Thanks for the reply! So I did the chime silencer (I referred to 20/30 method) as shown in the video and had it work for the front seats. That didn't silence the back and I even tried doing the 20/30 trick in the back seat but those seats seem to be on a different circuit.I've tried at least 10x following the videos. Tried with the start button in accessory and with it in start mode. Tried it with the seat belt connected after the 20th time and with it disconnected. Turned the car on and then off. Still get the seatbelt light on the dash and the chime. Any suggestions? TIAFor what its worth when I bought my subaru the way to disabled it was the same as the previous gen so you may want to check there, maybe they left it the same.
