I think the best performance carb for the 351M is the Motorcraft 2150 2V. Frankly, I don't think using a 4V carb on an unmodified 351M is cost-effective. For less money than a 4V intake manifold and a 4V carb, you could change the camshaft and retune the Motorcraft 2150 2V carb and get more power.
