This vid from 6 months ago shows the progress (at the time) for 3rd person: Its quite common for people to get that feeling of motion sickness, theres a term for it even called simulator sickness. As long as it is available to all players there is no issue with this. Yes 3rd person would allow you to see around corners etc, but the playing field would still be a level one. I myself like the 1st person more so than the 3rd. However I would love to be able to go 3rd person to see how my charachter looks.
