I was in a similar situation with my zf. I took the easy way out and built a 1356-205 doubler, but I would bet you would be fine grinding if youbuild a t-case torque mount (a must, ZF tailhousings break with stock 1356s, 205's much heavier). If you look at a C6-205 adapter, they resemble the ZF's tailhousing with a notch out of them for that pin.The doubler is cheaper. But the black box is easier, shorter, lighter, and lower gear ratio. Any input is appreciated. When I was researching what I found was in a YJ or TJ there is not room for a double case setup. There is rarely room for a under drive box either. the 203/ 205 will net you 4:1 total reduction unless you go to a lowmax...at that price point; I would go with a 4 spd atlas for better gearing selection.
